The beautiful Umpqua Valley in Oregon is home to over 30 award winning wineries.  From our home base in Roseburg, Oregon, you’ll be able to visit almost half of these wineries by bicycle.  Cycling in this wine country is a pleasure on low traffic country roads that connect the wineries and follow the Umpqua River valley.  It’s not all flat however, as modest hills provide some climbing and enhance the beautiful landscape.

These tour are fixed base.  You will have a choice of ten different loop rides that pass by a dozen different wineries.  You decide how many wineries you want to visit each day.  If you taste wines and find some you really like, no worries, we’ll take care of transporting any purchases you make back to our hotel.  If you don’t care to taste wines, you’ll still enjoy some of the most scenic cycling in Oregon.  On each of our routes you’ll enjoy views of the Umpqua River, orchards, wooded hillsides, pastoral fields and of course miles of vineyards.

If you wish to extend your visit to Oregon, we recommend Crater Lake National Park and the unique Oregon coast,
as both are less than two hours away by car.
